Haunted Ghost Run

Hi guys!
Today's post is about the race I was in this morning. I ran a 1k  race today but I usually do a 5k run but I am good with a 1k. This race was a fun run and I got this cool ghost medal for finishing. It glows in the dark which is really cool. It was called the Haunted Ghost Race.  Usually my mom and I run 5k races together. I was a bit disappointed that this was such a short one. The weather got cold, rainy and windy so I was glad to be done quickly. After the race we all got hot chocolate it was so so SO good. It helped to warm me up. Running is hard and I run out of breath but its important to keep going because it will help keep my heart strong. What kinds of activities do you like to do to?

I have a dog named, Echo and a cat named, Krackers. My Aunt has two dogs, Blu and Harley. I like to take them to the dog park and for walks. I love cuddling with them. Echo is a big dog and Blu and Harley are smaller dogs. I love their different personalities. Blu is bossy, Harley is grumpy and Echo just loves attention. Do you have any pets?

Please  if you want you can tell me your story.  I would love for you to tell me what you want me to tell you about [:

I am so happy so many people like my blog. I am so thankful. Happy Thanksgiving!

I hope you all have a great  thanksgiving from open heart Maya .

Meeting Open Heart Maya

 Hi,  I am Maya I have a heart  problem.

 I started this blog to see if any heart kids would read my blogs. I am interested in connecting with others like me. A heart kid is someone that was born with a heart issue that affects their day to day life. It doesn't stop me! I have had numerous heart surgeries and procedures in my life. I have many scars and marks that make me unique and beautiful. I am not ashamed of them. I wear them proudly!!

Here is a bit about me...I am 11 years old. I have a combination of six different types of defects but I don't let them hold me back. I love horseback riding and dancing. I do tap and jazz dance and have since I was 3 years old. I run in 5 k races with my family. I did 8 races this year. I also have celiac disease so that is another huge challenge I deal with daily. Celiac means I can not eat any gluten, wheat, rye and barley. It makes me very very sick if I do by accident.

I love meeting new kids with heart issues and sharing my heart story with them and hearing about theirs.  I will post things that inspire me and challenge me. Let me know yours too because we can support each other!
I hope to be post every Thursday, Friday,Saturday and Sunday so keep a look out for my posts!! Please comment and introduce yourselves so I can say HI personally!! Bye for today[;
